Back on the front page

Hey!
I just noticed my little blog is back on the front page!
Many of my current orblears will not know this, but once, Kalikapsychosis was in the top 20 blogs, along with 'Practical Magic' 'Enviro Warrior' 'Mind Orgasms' and 'Flashes of memories'
Those were the days when everyone was a writer, and all the blogs, regardless of topic, were a study of culture. We cajoled and encouraged each other, and in return for our advice to one another, we got a feast for the mind everyday.
I do miss those fantastic days, where everything I read on Orble was stimulating and caused my synapses to snap together.
Dont get me wrong. I enjoy Jason Kings writing, I like Mr Nice Guys jokes. I still check out Bryn on a regular basis, and Astro Earth is always mind boggling. Theres a sweet little blog called 'doctoring the soul' queitly writing in the shadows which is also a treasure.
But still, I do miss great writing, fresh as it was from the minds and unsullied by the idea of 'entertaining'.
I gotta say though - Kalikapsychosis in the top 20, then drops out of sight for about a year, now back up there again, what is the common deniominator?

My only pet hate with Orble now is all the copy-pasted blogs. I really don't know why people bother doing that, as the original site they got the material from will always have a higher Google ranking than their copied one.
