Bigger Brother looking over Big Brother's shoulder

A few weeks ago The Daily Telegraph featured a damn tiny little article about how BB this year would be 'closely monitored' and its catch phrase was as above - "Big Brother looking over Big Brother's shoulder". It gave a few small hints as to what the show would contain. I pricked my ears up, obviously, but since the article was only a few lines, there wasnt much to get excited about.
It seems, however, that it was meant literally - Yesterdays Telegraph featured a slightly longer article, headline - "Big Brother Picks Contestant with Disorder!"
Now, before we get into it, lets just remember, BB does not go around mental hospitals and private residences weilding loaded guns, saying "We pick you" the contestants have to 'try out' and there are thousands that do it, and fail. Only a lucky few actually get 'picked' and every single one is there by their own will and volition.
The Daily Telegraph(who's side are you ON?) managed to get in a clinical psychologist, who has commented that the person should not be 'teased or exploited' by the show. He has also commented "It will also depend on how the program will portray the person".
Gretel made a great comment to Micheal last year, something like - " Anything you do on camera, you really did. We cant use little puppets to make people do things" Classic Gretel, BRILLIANT! But she gets even better(Ah, great ladies always do) with her comeback to the clinical psychologist(Named as Rocco Crino, a name you can trust) which was - " I guess its to show diversity and try and represent society" she continues with - "But I need to find out more about this obsessive compulsive disorder before the show starts. Im not sure what the parameters are because I know a lot of people who would refer to themselves as that, but have not been diagnosed."
Utterly spot on, in my book. Just because some Nazis out there want to get their balls in an uproar and start some completely unproved shit, BB's already in trouble! And get this - the show has not even aired ONCE yet! How can they have started already! Honestly! I used to believe there was no such thing as bad publicity, and to a degree thats still true, but Im really starting to feel like BB is just one big shark bait, with all the little pissers having a bite. Really, thats all it is, so many BIG POWERFUL people, who want to look important, who want to make it look like they care about society to the rest of society, but dont actually have the balls to tackle a big issue, so they pick on poor innocent BB.
This morning on MIX 106.5 Sammy and Subby had a chat, a fella (cant remember his name) assured us that no, the 'neat freak' did not actually have an obsessive compulsive disorder, that everything had been blown completely out of proportion(hello?) and that the house was going to be better than ever. Why? Because Its GREEN. Apparently, according to MIX 106.5, the complex is much larger, the farm is bigger, and the house is now solar powered. Im a little concerned about the farm being bigger - I guess they'll be collecting eggs, I hope they wont be killing the fatted calf when they're low on staples. Sammy mentioned how 'boring' it was when they feed the animals - Id like to know which BB she was watching, since I was ROFLOL at the antics of the goats and city girls trying not to get dirty! Now, personally, I think this is a dirty little trick by the BB people(and I LOVE dirty little tricks) to fake out these NAZI'S, by saying, "Hey man, you cant touch us, we're saving the environment this year, and we're setting a very GOOD example" Its an excellent idea, but I dont think its going to save you. Why? Because when you bend to the Nazi's, you lose the people who love you. Not me, Im loyal to the social experiment. Whatever BB is going to do to these people, it services my education quite well, but what about all the people who want depravity? Hmmm....
Finally, The Daily Telegraph has managed to enrage me still further with its closing comment - " Producers have acknowledged the climate has changed and will tone down the controversial series - including axing the weekly uncut, adults-only version."
My first thought? It wouldnt be the first time the Telegraph has shot off its mouth without the proper information. Im still holding on to hope that there WILL be an adults only - Perhaps after 10:30pm?
Second thought? If its true?
WUSSY BABY WHINERS! How many years have BB campaigned against its detractors, to give up now? Why are they giving up without a fight? Because a senator that likes spending tax payers money cant explain naked people to her daughter? 3 Million, READ IT 3 MILLION people watched the adults only show with complete loyalty, Channel Ten, are you going to let us ALL down?!!!
And now, for a reiteration and regurgitation - A few weeks ago on neighbors Pepper kissed Rosie. For those of you who dont know, they're both girls, and neighbors airs in a 6:30pm timeslot. Last night, Law and Order SVU was dramatizing child sex and child porn in the 8:30pm timeslot. I heard a mother ringing up 2dayFM about the neighbors incident(way to pick your helpers, there!) and she used those dreaded words - "How am I going to explain this to my daughter?" but, as yet, no ones commenting on the child sex/child porn aspects. So we are just letting them draw their own conclusions on that then? Last night was particularly melodramatic(even for Law and Order) showing some fairly graphic pics of the little girl in question, the little girl saying to the police how she gets raped frequently. Hmm. Ive even seen the rape of a child simulated quite realistically on that show. I cant take it - I switch it off. Which is what I suggest you do if you have a problem with ANY aspect of BB. Im keeping my personal opinions on Law and Order under my hat(sort of) so if I can respect that people want to watch children get raped and be entertained by vicious sexual crimes and horrific murders, surely you can respect my wishes, and let me watch a funny, lighthearted look at sociery in a box. Please? Pretty Please? With a cherry on top?
Because if you want to continue to make statements like "the climate has changed" and villify BB as the worst show on TV, we're going to have to go through every single show airing in every single timeslot, and axe the lot of them.
Lets see how this goes. I would really like to know if the BB detractors watch SVU....

I'm sorry, and I don't know how,but I seem to have missed this post.
I hate reality TV like this, and Gretel.....well I guess some people will do anything for money, you obviously feel very passionate about things I just simply detest and I think you've gone to great lengths to express yourself, you're a hard worker as I've already said.
I just wish I could do something to change all these things, but I can't, I sometimes think MAN is hell bent on his own destruction, and to that end I think I am defeatest, which is not a good thing to admit to being.
Once again, I'm sorry my response has been so slow, I notice that posts are appearing in between already established posts so something is going on with timing issues, I've noticed it with other things, too.
All for now, don't let them "get you".

I think you need to accept that man is hell bent on his own destruction. Its inevitable - our waste will bury us.
You know I consider humans to be just another animal - All crime can be explained by seeing it as a pack of carnivores fighting for territory and mates. Thats why I love BB - it proves my point so well! I get to see - what destroys that mask of humanity and brings out the raw animal beneath? By what aspects do people define their sense of SELF and humanity? What threatens it? BB answers these questions for me.
And, my dear, I said to Mrs M the other day - a measure of TRUE friendship is the ability to agree and disagree amicably. Its the most interesting form of friendship when your values and opinions differ yet you can still talk about it without disliking each other - dont you agree?
And yes, Ive noticed a few issues on orble....
