Enemy

For the purposes of this post Im going to introduce you to my girls.
I seldom talk about my masterpiece as I am terrified of plagarisim, yet my masterpiece is so vast I can talk about bits and pieces without ever giving away the whole story. Where we start, at book one, there are already hundreds of years into the past that are written through family trees, all leading down to the important characters that star in book one.
But, Im finding book one a bit hard, as I have the story written all the way up to book seven. I know exactly whats going to happen to every character right up to the last book.
In book one, we meet Alexondra, the Hind, The Key to All Worlds....
And at the end of Book One, she gives birth to Andretta.....Who does not become a star in her own right until approximately book 4...
Andretta travels far and wide, and leaves a magical egg in lands far away as she must go seeking her mother....To combat the great evil of Book Five. Little does she realize her breeding with a dragon in love did not merely leave an empty egg.....It was full of the new life of the next in the line, suitably enhanced with the blood of Dragon...
Daemondra, Daughter of Andretta and Chilon, Defender of The Light, is born into a land of war and confusion. She scurries under the wing of Poison, who is the menace that seeks to own the world, far more dangerous than the Evil foe Alexondra battles in Book One. Under Poisons command, she seduces the dragon prince Ixiss.....Falling prey to his deepest darkest desires...
Like her mother she leaves an egg of charm which she believes (hopes) to be empty. It is not until Book Six that the line of power realizes it has birthed its most powerful and final child...
Akshasa....(Pictured above with her grandmother) who seems so evil, double bred with dragon blood and her father a mad and bloodthirsty dragon prince....The world which the Line of Power has saved time and time again seems in peril by her very existance.....Until it becomes obvious she is the only one who can save it.
For each character in whichever story, it is important to have a fitting enemy. It took some time to figure out who would combat Poison, a giant of his kind and a Dragon Sorceress of the Towers of Wisdom....In the archives of Book Three I found his opponent....
Even though Poison is so dangerous he is combatted by just about everyone. Finding the perfect enemy for Akshasa was somewhat harder however. I created her to be unstoppable, invincible. Her potential is endless. I stewed over all kinds of enemies and all kinds of confrontations, until I realized, the perfect enemy for her is not bigger or stronger or more immense - the perfect enemy is her mirror image - a character that posses the same characteristics as her and yet has a greater advantage of using them.
And so, during the war of Book Five, the mighty clamity that almost tears the world and the universe apart, I make it that Poison was worse than anyone ever guessed.....That despite denying Daemondra his love(for fear of their super powered children) he takes another of his servants secretly and thus creates...
Kalista. Chaos. She is her mother and she is her father. She wants nothing but chaos and will not stop until the fever in her blood is sated.....With the Death of the Line of Power.
Akshasa and Kalista have some personal issues...
In these pics and especially recently Ive thrown out correct techinique - These gals are dragon bred with bones that can move like liquid - whos gonna tell me theyre not 'realistic' enough? Thats really not the point. The point is to work out every detail in which they can hurt each other and what the final battle is actually going to come down to.
Creating an enemy for Akshasa was almost as difficult as creating one for myself. Whether its justified or not I feel whole, being able to focus my hate and send it somewhere, to someone who's a good enough symbol to recieve it.
What about you? How do you create your enemies? Do you have one?

Flashes of memories
Your story sounds great - travelling through such mysterious lands would be exciting to even the seasoned traveller. Plus your pictures are superb... said it before, will say it again, I dunno how you manage to do it but you do it so well.
