ICY Goddess(2)

Ice Sticks.
Funny That.
I had joy, I lived in sun,
I thought such heat
would surely melt her away.
How silly I was.
Her hard hands grab my heart
you are mine
Yes Mother.
I own you
Yes Mother.
I never left
I know.
Now, you hurt again, who is here?
Yes, I agree, who is here?
Who is here, but depression?
I relax, comforted, finally,
in her thorny embrace,
The sticking ice and thorns -
They tear new wounds,
but why care,
when I am already bleeding to death
I need her arms
I need her comfort.
I cannot give my pain to another,
I cannot share
so, it is with relief,
I collapse into her chill arms,
come back to pain my love
Yes, Mother. You are fear itself.
Once again, she does not judge.
She asks nothing of me.
Only to stay, to be held,
share my pain and blood,
mingle with the ice.
If I become more like her -
maybe it wont hurt anymore.

Better to pour it onto a page than let it cut my heart...As I say to Katyzz, 'pain is inspiration to the poet'....
And yes, the vast majority of my work is a bit scary, most of my friends dont know about it, dont read it, theyd be terrifed if they knew!
