Just an update

Nothing special, and not much of it, as I have to collapse very soon.
Axis, now named Simba, is doing beautifully at his new home, respendant as King, he rules his new parents, so Ive heard.
Azhure, (name pending) has bonded to her new cat mommy in a way I havnt seen since Kman met Sampson. Utterly, instantly and completely.
Niah just caught a mouse! Zen Mom has been teaching her and Whim to hunt, which I appreciate. Our five fat kitties cant catch em any more.
The horses are bored, cos I havnt done much with them.
Now. You may or may not remember, in May I had a few days off for a chest infection. I didnt see my doc, just a med centre doc, who diagnosed chest infection, gave me a few days off, and filled me with anti biotics. I said to them "Man, my ear is killing me" She said, nothing wrong with your ear.
A few months later, I again went to the med centre. "My ear is killing me!" Another chest infection. More antibiotics.
A month ago, I went to my doc. I had no infection, but told her about my ear, the dizzyness, the vertigo, the balance problems. She said the same thing - nothing in your ear.
Then, she uses the same doovalacky they use to look in your ear, puts an extra long whatsit on it, and peers up my nose. She informed me the sinus tube connecting my left ear and nostril is almost totally blocked, cant get anything through it, cant see a reason why. She puts me on this ultra hard working hayfever stuff.
I felt ok, but I knew it wasnt working. Last week, I started just falling asleep everytime I sat down. Getting snappy. I knew it was infection. Went back to the doc today.
Due to the tube being myseriously closed, and refusing to respond to medication, fluid builds up in my face - causing tremendos pressure and pain - and because it cant get out it drips into my throat and causes massive infection throughout the whole respiratory tract. Thats what Im suffering now. So, massive wallops of antibiotics for now, and a CT on Sat so they can get a good look at whats going on in there.
I think - I feel - something is stuck in there. I breathe in all sorts of crap, around the horses and ducks, grass seeds and bits of chaff and hay, mammoth dust bunnies and even insects, so I believe something has worked itself into the cavity itself causing the passageway to become so inflamed that the offensive thing cant get out. Doc doesnt agree, but we will see after the CT.
For now, my strength is sapping and my heads all fuzzy, its intensely frustrating because I really want to work on the book right now...But like the famed PC on those Mac ads...I gotta crash....

Im sleeping a lot, but the key to beating infection is to keep moving. So I get up and do the animals before I collapse then do the arvo jobs before another collapse. Cook dinner then bed. Hopefully this can get sorted out fast - such a small thing, and it affects my whole body!
BTW hun, I cant believe that you dont have some flour and eggs and cocoa in your cupboards - thats all you need to whip up cookies or cake. I used to make Anzac biscuits when I got home from school, and we didnt even have an electric mixer! Now Im challenged by a faulty oven! But home brand cake mix are only seventy cents, and make good cakes. You have to buy icing mix though, its not included.
Would you like to have a baking day? When I get better of course.
