kittens again

I was just out there....How obvious is it I cannot resist them? The toilet training has caused outrageous issues - kitties crying from one end of the laundry to the other. They get in the box, dig, then cry until mum comes and sorts it out for them!
I must say, dear Zenith has got her motherhood worked out. Everything I said must have sunk in. She feeds when she is ready and closes the milkbar when she's had enough. She cleans them, but lets them cry in the box until they work it out. Whatta mum.
Go Niah! See the size of her forearms - she is like my Zee girl all over again. Amazing.
Over the weekend I let Zenith out for a walk. I sat with her, playing in the dirt. I heard the kittens cry, but I knew nothing could harm them, and they have started crying for any reason at all. When I finally went inside to check - Zenith stayed out - I found them all in a heap in the centre of the basket, looking around furtively. They saw my feet, but when I got down to ground level and they saw my face, a cacaphony of cries ensued - "Where were you! We were all alone!" And proceeded to leap on top of me to bar my enivetable escape.

I'm tempted to say "what a long tale our cat's got?" but I know it is all TRUE.
Looking forward to the next episode, it surely beats the soaps, not that I ever watch them nowadays although I have been guilty of that in the past.

Ive got the evolution up here...Day one to now. I'll try and find the one where Zenith is making friends with Wist - The duck thinks he's the father.
