Kittens

I told Kman the other day - you must come and sit amongst the kittens. Seriously, so far as life goes, it often sucks, most of it is painful, and when it comes to actual 'life experiences' that make being here worthwhile, you just cant go past sitting in a kitten den.
Oh, look at that maniacal face! Azhure is delirious in joy battling Axis! When you go sit in a den of 4 week old kittens, they leap on you. Ive perfected the art of letting them all latch firmly on my leg then raising it as high as I can. Soft paws with tiny claws pat at you, little needle teeth mouth softly at you, and big curious cat eyes search your face and hands.
Tawny - now renamed by mum - WhimaWay, gets into the food with mum helping....This week I bought 4 big tins of white tuna, a slab of diced beef heart, two packets of cat meat and mince. I think we got some kidneys as well. We are already running out. I think its Axis' fault. Man, that cat loves to eat! He is going to be one fat boy.
The kittens themselves are mostly the reason Im feeling depressed lately - costs going up, money running out, and no help in sight....But it is impossible to feel bad about being alive when you can go sit amoungst them and let them whisper the magic of life....

The personality of Axis and our Sammy is scarily similar - I think it comes from having more sisters than brothers, he's a bit of a wussy pussy!
