LIFE IS A CRAZY THING

Life is a crazy thing,
twists and turns I could not forsee,
following candy, surely left, for me!
But......Twisted pathways lead,
from high well lit roads,
dark, shadowed twists......
Oh, I planned so hard,
I sang like a bard,
But.....I kept pulling the wrong card.
Again. And Again. And AGAIN!
But how? Who knew?
That the choices I took were so few!
Aaah.....Silly, silly girl.
Just trying to get a grip, gain control,
slippery strands that slip through her fingers......
Choices to make,
things to do,
even if choices were so few
Of Light. And Glimmer.
Instead, I merely simmer.
And wait for some, any conclusion, to come.
