Night

creatures calling
night singing

mist drifting
light catching...

Stars sparkle
glitter

so far away
night has fallen

sliver of moon
gone to rest

and now the wicked things play
silent dark

the air speaks in screams
clouds fade,

dew drops fall....
I am most thankful for the night.
