What a morning....
Kmans decided to take a days holiday. He's still in bed though.
Its so cold. I cant believe that the sun is out and the day is moving on and yet the air is like ice water. When I let the horses out they all took up positions standing in the sun and just stayed there, getting the sun into their skins. Teshan is wuffling - she's so lovely when she's in a good mood. After putting the horses out and cleaning up the laundry, giving ducks and pigeon some seed I just stood there on the deck and listened......Goats up in goat guy paddock, mournfully crying. Their chickens fiendishly escaping out into our yard. I even saw a goat next door, in Casper's yard. Cheeky things. The wing sounds of birds, the wind in the trees, the dripping of water that wasnt long ago ice, dropping from the roof. I just stood and listened. Despite being too close to civilization, still, theres peace.
The cat was crying again last night. Over the last few weeks mournful and seemingly painful cries have drawn us out, and more than once mum and I have ventured out to try and find said cat, believing in a worst case senario it could easily be an injured kitten. Dear Juliet - Why did you leave? Where are your babies?
Once venturing into the dark paddock we quickly realize our folly - the paddock is massive and covered in masses of shrubs and bushes. We clumsy humans are stampeding through the underbrush in the dark, and even though a humans eyes can adjust to the point that you can see as well as an owl, that really doesnt help you when you are making enough noise to drown out the sounds of a kitty escaping - if hes even making any.
Well, last night the little blighter was right under my window yowling. Every time I went out, it bolted. I think its a female in heat....Ive heard enough of them to know the sound. It worries me. Ive seen a black cat sneaking into the shed eating the food we leave out for Juliet - But I think he's having issues with Alfred the Magpie, and he wont let us near him.
At present, my Bink, you know the one -
Is hooning up and down the house screaming her head off. She's trying to attract the attention of other Binks, and she actually gets it. They come and gather around the windows, and she asks inane questions of them like, "What station is your radio on? Can you change the buttons yourself, cos I can. Hey, why do you guys scrounge around in the dirt? Doesnt your mum open up packets of meat and bread for you? Just steal it, I do" and Im sure the outdoor Binks have no answer, except for, "Look.....You gave the distress signal. Do you want to be rescued or what? How the hell did you get in there?"
Im sketching again...But dont get excited. For now feast on 'sketch links' because Im not ready to put up anything new yet. Im just fiddling. But it feels good.
More important is Tomb Raider.....Why have I not updated my progress? Because I was bloody stuck on St Francis' Folly! Thanks to Stellas walkthroughs, Im through now, and on my way to Tomb of Tihocan.....Anyone else upset that 'The Cistern' seems to have been removed? Perhaps its incorporated into Tihocan, and it was never my most favourite level, but it was always interesting.
Well....Its midday and its still freezing cold here.....Im going to snuggle with my man for a bit.

ahhh how I wo uld LOVE to have a day like this... snuggled and sketching and listening to the peace and calm outside.
At last my Citizenship is in the final stages and soon I can have my own space and place and... AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Its funny, for the first time in my life, Im bored. Ive got the house so clean it just needs a wipe over in the mornings and Im so efficient with the jobs they dont take me long at all. I wander around twiddling my thumbs! Got some fencing to do today, and some wood collecting, but I feel strangely restless, and I dont know why.
But Im soaking it up. Good on you - I know you've been waiting ages for the citizenship!
