Officially Over It

I am now 8 days over due.
My belly has gotten so huge my waddle is extremely pronounced. To move my legs shoot in a vaguely forward position that makes a wide circle before stomping my gozilla weight down on the ground. The floorboards shriek when I waddle up the hall. Putting on socks or pants is some kind of horrific torture - unable to get to my foot, or bring it to me, we try desperately to meet in the middle and I have to go at it about 5 times before I get there.
I only have about 4 items of clothing that fit me now. Pairs of tights that previously never left the house are now fit to be seen in public. Huge T shirts that were only ever used as nighties now drape me like a small tent.
I was checked at the hospital yesterday and told that technically, things have begun, I am just progressing at a remarkably slow pace. Its back to the hospital tomorrow for a check if nothings happened, then they give me one more day before they induce me.

I actually had a good sleep last night, but I have to change positions a lot and strap the heat pack to me.
Thanks for the well wishes. Very painful, frustrating time Im having. The midwife said its because she's big, Im small, so first stage is going to take some time while she drops down. Much more of this, and I'll be screaming.
