One Last Time.....

Just this, and I wont speak another word to you. Oh, I might break my own rules, that should probably be a given. But, Im going to endeavor to not speak a word on this....I'll think about it, to be sure, its going to exist as a hole inside me. A constant blind spot. The ever niggling "youve forgotten something".....
But this is going to be an attempt and an end of thinking.....A resolution within my own mind.
Understand.....The first time I heard this song I was enchanted...Utterly. I was in Year 5 Primary school. Catholic school. I wrote the name of the song and the artist on the inside of my pencil case because I was sure that Id get in trouble if anyone saw it. Even at that tender age this song spoke to me, drew me, pulled me. At that first time, I imagined romancing devils......Drawing near to Satan and never wanting to be apart from his power. It seemed that much more significant, Lucifer that much more attractive, than the faceless God I was sent to worship. At least, you could count on the Devil to be a bastard. To tempt and seduce. At that age, Id already learned you couldnt count on God for anything.
Now I believe in another deity - The great and Terrible Kali Ma, who eats us and recreates us. I feel her in my blood. And this song.....Well, Kman gave me an Ipod for Christmas, mum gave me a significant stack of cds. Last night while loading up I hit this song in Techno version.....And my heart stopped. Cold sweat broke out over my skin.
I remember.......
And now, I feel you.

oh this song reminds me of this guy I went to college with. He really took a shine to me and used to walk me to my car everyday. He would sing this song all the time. Bless him.
Some quite toxic lyrics in there - no pun intended.
