Sensation

Already in a dark place
when a dark thing came
I rush through the things I love
desperate for enjoyment,
for its kiss is always only faintly lingering,
its joy brief and sweet and
showering, like a rain of goosebumps....
The wave of passion, pleasure.
So fast....Sensation gone from me,
I grasp at tendrils waving,
I feel affinity,
with the Gods around me.
And yet that too,
is but a faded photograph,
all falls to emptiness....
Nothingness.
Within.

desperate for enjoyment,
for its kiss is always only faintly lingering,
its joy brief and sweet and
showering, like a rain of goosebumps....
The wave of passion, pleasure.

I took Fergs to the park yesterday and decided to lie on a bench while he frolicked. I was hoping to enjoy the sky and its sights, but unfortunately all I saw was a huge spider ready to leap down to me from the tree so that idea was scrapped (I'm petrified of the hairy blighters).
But I know another park where I can lie in peace and enjoy the sights....
PS How are you feeling?

Having one of my superhuman days. It mystifies me that I was never diagnosed with BiPolar because I go way up and down so fast!
Im sure the spider had something to tell you! Its good to educate yourself about them so you know which ones to be scared of. We never kill them because then we get overrun by cockroaches!
I miss my old place - 2 storey house in a clearing. Perfect views of the sky. Im stuck in the jaws of suburbia now, GRR.

I thought you were somewhere close to the mountains?
What are your superhuman days like?
I'm definitely in suburbia, I love it but also relish parks and space.
That was my second spider encounter in a week. And both just after I was thinking that I was going to see one. I'm not saying I'm psychic, but yes maybe there is a message there. Pity I'm so scared of them all! But I don't like cockers either...I'm Welsh so that's why...or has something to do with it...I didn't grow up with the little critters.

We are NEAR the mountains but not really CLOSE. From the end of my street I can see them, but we're not in a rural area. Bout a hundred metres down the road its just sidewalks and houses. I just feel hemmed in.
On a superhuman day I feel....Well, superhuman! The blood roaring in my viens feels like fire, like I could lift buildings or fly. My minds sharp and clear and I can hear people's thoughts as the drive past the house. Nothings bad, everythings good.
The spider has mystical properties, and like snakes, they rarely bite. He's more scared of you than you are of him! They live entirely on a different scale. We have a pretty brown and white one that lives on the indoor compost bin, and when you cook near it, the heat stirs up bugs and he comes out and hunts while you cook. We have the nicest talks. Im always worried about squishing him by accident because he flies in near you on web tendrils, but to him, its just grocery shopping, nothing death defying about it!
