The lights grow dim,
and it should make me happy
only I look down....
And Im covered in shadows.

Some crawl,
some slither,
others flicker,
and draw,

but they cover me,
these darknesses,
as if trying to swallow me,
and not the way which was invited....

Life on the edge,
is not all its cracked up to be,
feel the pull of the void
the draw of the vortex,

to let go let go.....
oh, it terrifies me that phrase,
to let go is to let myself go
