Sketch Links for Kleo

April 18th 2008 02:19
Man, I gotta do these more often, its getting far too much like hard work. But heres a list of links to all my posts with sketches - I think. I may have missed some but I dont think so. Its a then to now kinda deal.

PLEASE NOTE - Some of these posts you will be linked to will be MATURE CONTENT. If you are not mature enough to view nudity, voilence and drug references as expression of art, what the hell are you doing on my page? If you find my images offensive, congratulations, I actually mean to offend. You should have read the disclaimer. Lets get into it!

Really Long Link

This first one is a link to another post full of links. As usual you can expect some posts to be full of sketches and others will only have one or two. The words are unimportant in this instance - I wont be offended if you scroll over to check out the pics.

Just in case you're wondering, the point to something like this is to show EVOLUTION. You see where the sketching began and how its progressed to now.

And now for the new stuff!

Id just like to mention the reason why this one was so different. Mums borrowing our tv at the moment, because Kman and I mostly live on dvds which we can watch on computers. But last night to watch friends I had to sit in mums loungeroom, and with her looking but pretending not to look every few minutes, I just didnt feel comfortable with the blood and sacrifice routine. I made up for it later....

enjoy, critique, have at me!

It doesn't look like you're neglecting anything, Kleo...in fact, I've been inspired by your dedication to writing and drawing, both are fantastic and enticing.

Hello Kleo

When I see your drawings I feel more inspired to do more of the things I love doing, rather than all the things I ought to be doing.

Whenever I see your drawings, I can feel how much you love doing them.

Thanks for what you said,

Tracy

Hi Kleo,

Really worth the hard work, thanks for that, I enjoy sifting through your 'stuff' from time to time, it is so medieval. Which reminds me, at work yesterday someone dragged ina new set of oracle cards, that for a moment, I thought you had drawn? I will get their name next week and come back with it here, okay... sorry it's the old brain, I forgot to write it down... was memorising angel numbers in stead - very revealing

Glad you are well, will catch up with your poetry and rambles soon my sweet, life is busy busy here and slow slow by turns. My internet has been off all week and it rained away, so like you I went to bed and read and snoozed and wow, feel great!

As always, only praise for the fantastical, mystical, honesty of your art work.

Hugs

Lilla...
So lovely to see you....Glad you had the time to drop in!

These are from just after I left the last job - I just went into this period of doing nothing but sketching. Im missing it now, but Im into the new thing Im writing for now....When Im not working that is!

Id be very interested to hear more about these cards, Im sure Ive never done it professionally, not yet anyway, but Id love to see these.

With the new job theres not much time for cards now, but you'll see that the poetry is benefiting!

Thanks for stoppin in...

Hey Kleo,

Finally got here.. still having technical difficulties : internet dropping out on ADSL2 (?) [bloody telstra ; just because we stopped using them?] ... hackers wiped our systems clean, and my laptop keyboard was blown away... so, I have been scarce now for the past month as we try and wade through the molasses, whilst the proverbial still drips from the recently sprayed fan blades... regardless to say it ended with me at the local federal members office and hopefully soon some satisfaction and customer service?

I wont prattle on in acse I drop out again, okay?

Just wanted to let you know that I looked through that Orcale deck as promised and noted the name.... It is called the Oracle of the DragonFae by Lucy Cavendish.

I think you would love these cards and they would inspire you even more... I stronglt believe these cards will speak to you directly. I did a spread with them yesterday (at work, inbetween clients) and I was amazed by the messages from the elemental and shadow realms ... especailly the card of rebirth of the two nameless dragons and how they create it... and the huntress? wow, amazing graphics and messages ... I can only hopew the rebirth card appeared to mark my ability to be reborn and get *back on line* without dramas?

*chuckle* /seriously/ gosh its been hell.

Hope alls well, will catch up with your new words again soon as technology allows *sigh* hopefully soon...

Lotsa love

Lilla,
Ah, so that explains it! Ive noticed your absence and felt the difficulty but hadnt been able to put my finger on it.

That deck sounds amazing though - its speaking to me now through your words. Im torn though - the more decks I buy the less likely I am to create my own, and I think that would be better. Still, I do need something to use now, and I dont think I should have to work so hard on a deck to understand it - as I have with faery wicca. Still never laid a spread. Obviously not inspired.

And when do I even have the time? My hours are too long. Thanks for the visit ......Angels on your keyboard!
