The East Coast Championships
February 6th 2007 23:44
The East Coast Championships is the second biggest show in Australia for Arabians and Arabian derivitives. Seond only to the Auzzie National Championships, its a bloody exciting place to be! It starts tomorrow, and Im going to be absent for awhile as I shine in my other arenas. Any of you near to Horsley Park, I suggest you check out the saturday night show, when the arena is decorated in egyptian statues and hangings, girls wear egyptian robes and the bloodlines of this magnificent animal are celebrated.
The pictured horse, The Magnetic Storm has won the last two years in his derivitive category. Winning this class enabled him to compete for the coveted champion of champions on saturday night, but so far he has been unsuccessful.
Wish us luck friends - I not only own this magnificent beast - I bred him! He is to this day the major advertising for my Stud, Cresent Moon. Born to show and only three years old, he has the sweetest nature and is one of my best friends - always cheering me up with games and silly antics, until he gets to the show ground, when its all business. If he wins this year he will be the only horse on record to do it three times, but Im hoping for that champion of champions title - just because Magnus himself deserves it so badly! Poor bugger - Last few years hes come out of the ring looking like a kid who tried his hardest and still didnt get the gold star!
This is your year Magnus!
