DAYS END
You should not want your days to end.
So quickly,
They flash by unloved
until the two you must treasure
then you wish for their end again.
Such sad days.
Unloved. Unappreciated.
And hurried up.
No wonder they burn us so
with their time tricks.
But we should not be wishing(So fervently)
for days to end.
The end of days comes,
only so many allotted,
to each soul,
and we burn them away.
We should not wish for days to end........
Isnt that?....
Suicidal. Thinking?

Wow! This one is excellent - I love the truth in it. Hopefully it did find its way into anothers hands who needed it - I`m thinking that`s why it was lost in the first place?
We so often wish our lives away don`t we? If only I were 18 - if only it was next week - I wish today would end... and then there are others who count every minute as they are treasured.
Very thought provoking and wonderfully expressed.

It is so lovely to see you here and thankyou so much for your concern. Im am ok, but for so many years it has struck me how so many people just waste their lives. Wishing for days to be over quickly so they can have a few hours to themselves before theyre wishing for the day to end again! Its just WRONG man. Its why society is screwed.
So Im just a little conflicted, a little angry. But thats ok, I ca deal with it. Im pretty healthy and cheerful too, so that helps. Thankyou very much for visting, its much appreciated.

I found it in the backpack, just an entirely different pocket than the one it should have been in. A bit strange. Im so glad you like it and connect with it.
Yeah that kind of wishing is nasty too, right up there with the dreaded What If? but I was directly referring to the attitude of everyone that we should get the day 'over and done with'. Isnt every day a miracle? A gift to be shared? Ahh, yes, when you're with your family, or your passion, but when you are at work? Every day becomes a torture. How did we do this to ourselves as a species? I thought we were supposed to be smart.

I am glad it is found and that you decided to share it... I used to wish days away... when I had some to spare... now in the middle of life, I think they are precious and should be enjoyed not endured... to me now, even the painful ones have blessings and are full of wonder and treasures to behold...
