Waiting for kitty

I was going to take some pics of them yesterday before they left, but I just didnt have the heart for it. Their poor little eyes were weepy, they were so hungry they were trying to chew on me....I had to with hold food for a few hours as it interferes with the anaesthetic. They left without incident, piled into the Cat Protection Society van, Mama Zen still trusting and lovely. Whatta cat she is.
They should be back any minute now, the poor girls with bellies full of stitches and Axis minus his man equipment. Im obsessively looking out the window waiting for their return. Its a sticky issue too, Id like to just set them up in the laundry to recover from the drugs, but we have a washing machine repair guy coming today, so they will have to go in the bathroom only to be evicted later when we want to use the shower. Im sick of musical animals let me tell you.
The pressure will be intense over the next few days but this weekend Axis and Azhure go to their new homes and WhimaWay becomes mums, and Zenith and Niah can foray into the house for the first time to meet the family. Should be interesting, and hopefully all will meet up with good favour and eradicate the need for room switching and confinement.
Its impossible for me to focus until they come home safe and sound. I was actually looking forward to last night - a night of less kitty boxes and no musical kittys, but I hated it. Where are my babies? So dead sure Im going to miss them when they go, but it will be nice to get the house back to normal again. The kitty saga is almost at its end.
